The Over the Rainbow EPP Quilt is based on the Dresden Plate quilt block.  The history of this block goes back as far as the 1800’s when examples of the ‘Dresden Plate Fan’ can been seen in quilts.  It didn’t become really popular however until the 1920’s when four fans were pieced together to make the circle Dresden Plate quilt block we know and love today.  This beautiful full quilt kit uses 144 different Liberty Tana Lawn prints to make the petals of the Dresden Plates all in gorgeous rainbows.

Techinques include English Paper Piecing (EPP) and Applique.
