Cosmo Needlework Fabric is a non-evenweave cotton canvas cloth used for free-style hand embroidery and Sashiko. Because it is a surface embroidery fabric rather than a counted cross-stitch fabric, it does not have ab official, standardized grid thread count but is categorized with a general density bracket of 31 to 36 threads per square inch.

The texture is soft with a very subtly fluctuating yarn weight. Best uses include Surface Embroidery, Sashiko and Quilting as the fabric offers an exceptional smooth needle glide and can also support dense running stitches without puckering.

Do not use for counted cross stitch as the warp and weft years vary in density.
