Our annual retreat at the Anola CC is booked for Sept 19 & 20! 

There is no price increase for the retreat this year, so the cost remains at $299. This includes your 8 ft table sewing space, cutting stations, ironing stations, gift bags, morning/afternoon snacks and lunch for both days. 

We always offer an optional class during one day of the retreat at no extra charge. This year in class, you will be learning how to make fabric sheets out of scraps using water soluble stabilizer and also using tulle. The techniques are similar, but you can choose which one works best for you depending on what you are doing. We will look at how slab (improv) blocks are made and what you can do with them. I don't think that technique will be anything too new for anyone, but we can def go over it for a refresher.

There will also be a demo of Boro (Visible Mending) on the second day. 

As at past retreats, I will reserve a block of rooms at the Best Western Premier Hotel E on Regent Ave for anyone who doesn't want to drive home. Options will be single or double occupancy. I have also looked into AirBnBs that are close by and I will let you know as soon as I know what is available. Unfortunately, there is no hotel closer to Anola that the Best Western in the city.
