We are super excited to announce that Keystone Modern Creative is now carrying Colorworks Premium Solids by Northcott Fabrics! Our first 100 bolts have arrived and more are on their way.

Colorworks Premium Solids offer a gorgeous palette of 241 colours as well as Pre Cuts available in 5" Chips (Charm Packs), 10" Tiles (Layer Cakes) and 2.5" Strips (Jelly Rolls). These super smart Pre Cuts save r cutting time so you can spend your time sewing your new projects instead! Pre Cuts are available in 4 colours - Superwhite, Snow, Eggshell and Black. They are the perfect pairing for the printed Charm Packs, Layer Cakes and Jelly Rolls already in your stash.

Why did we switch over to Colorworks Premium Solids by Northcott Fabrics? Well, there are a few reasons - Quality, Pricing and a Commitment to doing business in our home country of Canada:

1. Quality - Colorworks Premium Solids are one of the highest quality solids on the market. They are produced in South Korea in dedicated mills so the substrate (base fabric) and dye lots are incredibly consistent. The hand of the fabric is lovely and it is easy to sew with. Also, it doesn't fray as much as other popular cotton solids in our industry. Consistency is of the utmost importance in working with solids and we have found that Colorworks Premium Solids delivers consistency every time.
2. Pricing - As we see fabric prices increasing, we, like our customers, are looking for the best value for our money. Colorworks Premium Solids definitely deliver this value in Yardage as well as in Pre Cuts. 3. Commitment - As a Canadian company, Keystone Modern Creative orders from Canadian suppliers whenever possible. This keeps our financial resources in Canada through revenue for suppliers as well as through taxes and employment. Also, because Northcott Fabrics is a Canadian company that imports goods directly from South Korea, US tariffs and duties no not apply. This means that US tariffs and duties have no impact on the price of Northcott Fabrics prices in Canada, which is the best situation we could hope for for our customers!
