Join us for a year-long making journey with the Temperature Quilt - Flying Geese Edition!

This quilt finishes at 55" x 56" and can easily be made bigger with additional background fabric.

In this Temperature Quilt, you will be making (1) 1.5" x 3" Flying Geese block for each day of 2023. Your blocks are then sewn into rows for each month, and then sewn together to complete an entire year of temperatures!

We've created a 14 colour palette for you to record the temp from each day:

30+ - Fabric 1

+25 to +29 - Fabric 2

+20 to +24 - Fabric 3

+15 to +19 - Fabric 4

+10 to +14 - Fabric 5

+5 to +9 - Fabric 6

0 to +4 - Fabric 7

-5 to -1 - Fabric 8

-6 to -10 - Fabric 9

-11 to -15 - Fabric 10

-16 to -20 - Fabric 11

-21 to -25 - Fabric 12

-26 to -30 - Fabric 13

-30+ - Fabric 14

We will be using the Flying Geese Foundation Paper Piecing Blocks from It's Sew Emma! You have the option to use these papers, find your own source for papers, or use another method to create your Flying Geese blocks. As long as your block are 1.5" x 3", you can choose how you make them!

We have also included two background options - Kona Snow and Kona Black for you!

Kit includes Kona Cotton Solids to make the front of the quilt and binding, pattern and depending on your choice, some, all or none of the foundation papers.

We have even included an Excel file for you to record your temperatures!
